Re: STP Turbine '68 Indy 500 Double Build

Thanks everyone for the positive comments! I really appreciate it. https://i.imgur.com/iZrTOFS.jpg With the bodies painted and cleared, I could finally merge the chassis and body and get some work done. The kit has been a pretty easy build up until this point. But the suspension, especially the fron...

And of course, I didn'...

Thank you! The ones in the photo are from the kit. I've got a set of resin tires I'll use for the detailed one, and the simple build will keep the kit tires.

Re: STP Turbine '68 Indy 500 Double Build

Hi everyone, Small update. First, thanks for the additional paint information and confirmation of the flourescent colors! Especially to Michael for the tip on the Mr. Color Flourescent Red. I happened to have a bottle of it that I purchased a few months ago thinking "some day I'm going to need ...

Re: STP Turbine '68 Indy 500 Double Build

Please note: only the left front tire was yellow! Ah excellent, I did not know this! Thanks to you and the others for validating this as well. James, it was my pleasure to send you that kit and I hope we meet next time I am in Spain. It's an absolutely gorgeous country and we loved every moment of ...

STP Turbine '68 Indy 500 Double Build

Hello friends, It's been a very long time. My last post was well over a year ago and I've been missing the forum. So I've decided to come back with a double build! I'll be building a pair of MPC 1/25 Lotus 56 Indy Turbine cars. https://i.imgur.com/zAsgQMZ.jpg I've had the kit on the bottom (the 1995...

Re: Brabham BT18, Ebbro, 1/20

Beautiful work! And excellent photography as always. I *think* this is the only full-detail non-monocoque Formula car in 1/20 scale and the engineering on that kit is top notch stuff!
