Re: Anyone recently buy from Hobbyworld USA?
Great question, I've been wondering the same thing myself. About 6 months ago I placed an order for some Zero Paints Rosso Corsa 300, and while they happily took my money, I never received the item. Didn't even get any responses to my many email asking for a status. If they are back, I hope they're ...

Re: Beemax McLaren MP4/4
Beemax/NuNu MP4/4 is now available for pre-order over at Hobby Search with a September release. Rather optimistic, but we shall see.

Re: Meng McLaren MP4/4 in 1/24th scale
The 1/24th scale GT40 is the only kit I have from Meng. I toyed with getting the 1/12 MP4/4, but I decided to hold out for the BeeMax/NuNu kit since I have the 99T from them. I'll definitely get the 1/24 MP4/4....I like the idea of something smaller than 1/20 without having to go to 1/43. But from w...

Re: Meng McLaren MP4/4 in 1/24th scale
I gotta give Meng credit. They hold their cards very close to the vest and don't announce anything until the very last moment. If the announcement on FB is correct, we're less than a month away from the release of this kit. They've done this with their previous kits, and I wish other manufacturers (...

Re: 2002 Arrows A23 rear suspension
On a side note: Heinz Harald is one of the best follows on social media for an F1 driver. Put any picture or video of him in one of his cars, and more likely than not he'll respond with some insight about that particular car or team or event. Go check him out on Twitter and IG (and if you're lucky, ...

Re: Paint Cracking - M@r!b*r* Fluorescent Red
Have you given the layers enough time to gas out? The paints from Gravity, Scale Finishes, Zero, et al are all automotive basecoats, and they absolutely need at least 10 to 15 minutes minimum to gas out between thin layers. When I first started using automotive basecoats, I used the same technique t...

On the subject of fluo yellow. An excellent 4 part story of the Brawn 2009 championship campaign narrated by Keanu Reeves are currently shown on Disney+. That series alone is a good excuse for shelling out a month of subscription! What has this to do with fluo yellow you might ask? Well the 'compan...
