Heat Shrink Tube - Heating
What do you use for heating heat shrink tube? This is obviously for model car kits, e.g. pipe connections etc. Currently using a lighter to do this on metal 1/20 MFH pipes, but I don't like cleaning up the smoke residue/soot on the part or the possibility or melting the tube. The other issue is what...

Re: Carbon Fibre Decals - Recommendations
One more question. What do you use for a base coat under the carbon decals? I have read that with some CF decals, the visibility of the weave pattern can be negatively impacted by the base colour.

Re: Carbon Fibre Decals - Recommendations
Is this also for the MP4/4? Studio27 offers a set of cf-decals specially designed for this car. It has the advantage you don't have to do templates yourself and that's going to save you quite some time. I have used their Leyton House CG901B and for me it worked fine. Thanks. I bought the Studio27 C...

Carbon Fibre Decals - Recommendations
I have heard about Scale Motorsports carbon fibre decals.
https://scalemotorsport.com/collections ... ber-decals
They look OK but have heard about the decals breaking up. Any recommendations for these or others? This is for 1/20.

Re: Tamiya 1/20 MP4/4 - No M@r!b*r* Decals
I found the Tabu Design set (20015B) on Hobby Easy, cheaper than the EURO price on Spot Model https://www.hobbyeasy.com/en/data/29427.html Question. The above link states 'Fuji'. I assume this is Fujimi, not Fuji track in Japan as the '88 race was held at Suzuka (that is the race I want for this car...

Re: 1/20 F1 Goodyear Eagle tires without side moulds?
Even grasping the whole thing, I dont see a bi reason not to like original Tamiya tyres, but.... for some details. They LACK the markings that should be there, the ones saying "not for road use" and dimensions. On the other hand, I´ve been surprised with close pics showing that tyres supp...
