Re: New kit from Airfix....

Going to need a bigger workbench and storage if I'm getting into 1:3 scale aircraft!

Re: Ferrari F2002 Revell 1/12

Looks Great! May I ask what your choice of paint was? Love the red. Also, what strength of alcohol did you use for paint stripping? I worry about damaging the plastic beneath...
Have this in the stash with the Scale Motorsports detail set, and Fawcett's resin bits.

Re: Thank you Kyoko!

I, as well, can relate to a great experience dealing with Kyoko. (For those of you whom do not know, we are referring to Model Factory Hiro). Re: MP/4 & Lotus 99T - Fat Frog Products

I have the radiator set for the 99T. Very nice detail, and great for a 3D printed set. I also have the Beemax detail set, and I think the Fat Frog resin radiators will look better than the photoetch radiator faces in that set.
Could prove a challenge to paint them without clogging up any of the fins.

Re: 1/12 Lotus 99t NUNU

I can confirm that my sprue has a similar appearance to your part, Torsten, with a slightly smaller "sink hole" that has quite crude edges, rather than being perfectly round ( if molded that way on purpose). No evident "pipe" on top.

Very nice! You've got a handle on that 3D printer and CAD.

Re: 1/12 Lotus 99t NUNU

I can second that from personal experience of having kits shipped to Canada. I left stuff sitting in HLJ's warehouse for over 2 years post-Covid waiting for a shipping option that was worthwhile. Shipping from Japan is still outrageous compared to other zones. HobbyEasy always goes out of their way ...
