Re: Thunder Valley still in business?

I will add my experience with TVF1. I too, had read all of the horror stories about TVF1, but then I saw accounts that Paul had got his act together and was filling orders. Absolutely gorgeous!! And that engine…WOW! This one is the only MFH kit that I own. On one hand I’m excited to start it and the other hand I’m terrified 😂. You have done a terrific job on yours. Thanks for sharing!

Re: Realistic and easy to apply metallic paints

Hi all, Now there a lot of manufacturers making metallic paints. Looking for a realistic paints and easy to apply. Which are your preferred? When you say metallic paint I’m going to assume you are asking about metalizers. If that is the case I use a combination of Alclad and AK Interactive Xtreme M...

Re: Finally FW14B detail set

Well, if you have the TV and RBMotion parts already, the Top Studio is almost redundant. You'll certainly not use all of them. It has been awhile since I looked at my kit and aftermarket parts but I’m thinking the TVF1 items were PE for the engine and some turned aluminum for the suspension. I do r...

Re: Finally FW14B detail set

Thank you for the responses to my question. I’m getting excited to start on my Williams but wanted to wait until I had all of my aftermarket items. I had purchased the Thunder Valley items and the RB Motion items years ago and now wonder how much of them I will actually use.

Re: Finally FW14B detail set

I am relatively new to the whole Top Studio detail up sets and don’t have a lot of knowledge of their past sets. I have no idea if this last set, the engine set, is the last one for the Williams or if there will be more. Can anyone shed some light on this? I’m not sure what else they could do for th...

Masking is my least favorite thing to do followed closely by filling ejector pin marks.
