Re: Acrylic color of Senna's MP4/7?
I painted my 4/6 with Tamiya rattle cans, both the white and red. I painted outdoors on a warm calm day thus eliminating the smell in the house. The results were excellent and the color is right. bossy122-if you are having trouble with Tamiya bottle paints washing off when you apply decals you shoul...

Re: What picture hosting site do you use
I signed up with www.postimage.org . It's free and I'm very happy with the ease of use and the speed of the site. PB could be very slow at times and I'm much happier with postimage.

Re: Way to go, Honda (Indy spoilers)
[...] By the way, GREAT edition of the Indy 500!! Watched it from the edge of the seat all the time. Great to see Sato win where he had his best moment in F1, Alonso drove like an Indy multiple winner, Castroneves escaped from an horrible accident to be second again and anyone was badly injured in ...

Basically it's a good idea to heat the spray can in hot water. Gives a finer spray and keep the coats thin to avoid runs. When you get to the FW 14B you will l...

Re: stripping paint from plastic & metal
I had to strip paint from my Tamiya MP4-6. It was Tamiya spray paint and I used ERasy Off with excellent results. Sprayed it down and sealed it in a zip lock bag for a few hours. Paint came right off with no damage to the plastic. Wear protective gloves.

I bought my MP4/6 from them when they had it in stock for $125 which isn't a bad price.

Re: Tamiya 1/12 FW 14B
I have ordered from them 5 times and have always had excellent service. Be advised that surface transportation to the United States can take 6 to 8 weeks but is considerably less expensive than ait shipment. They package kits very well and I've never had damage. I recommend them
