Re: Leyton House CG 901B
I realized that I failed to notice that a small windshield was supposed to be installed. There was a template in the instructions with the actual size outline, so I copied it and cut a piece out of some thin clear packaging plastic. I bent it to the correct shape and glued it (with some difficulty) ...

Re: Leyton House CG 901B
CK, I definitely had issues getting the rear wing together. I did all the painting of the parts separately, then applied most of the decals. The top wing element broke while I was applying the carbon fiber decals, and I tried gluing it back together at least two or three times, but it was very fragi...

Re: Leyton House CG 901B
I finally got the remaining decals on the rear wing, and got the wing assembled, with some difficulty. I was expecting it to be problematic, but it took me three tries, with three different types of glue before I got it to hold together. Anyway, there were some spots that needed touch-up, as you can...

Re: Carbon decal Ferrari 126C4M2 MFH
What brand of carbon decal are you using, and what kind of setting solution? For difficult carbon decals (like Studio 27), I've had good luck with really hot water to release the decal from the sheet, lots of Solvaset solution, and a hair dryer to get the decals to settle. It's also recommended to u...

Re: Zakspeed zk891 1/20
Nice work. A small suggestion - shoot the photos in landscape (horizontal) rather than portrait (vertical) mode. That way we can see more of the model.

I also got the front wing glued on, but in the process of making sure it was properly located, I broke off the nose cone, so that had to be re-glued. Fortunately, it went back on without any problems. This is what the main chassis looks like at this point. https://www.ipmsniagarafrontier.com/images/...

Re: Leyton House CG 901B
I shot some color coats on the upper body, removed the masking and sanded the edges, and started applying the decals. The white band decals between the green and blue areas had some issues - they weren't quite long enough to join at the rear, so I had to do some touch-up with white paint (I used Tam...

Re: Leyton House CG 901B
Finally, some updates. I finished sanding and cleaning up the repairs to the radiator outlets on the upper body, so it was ready for repaint. https://www.ipmsniagarafrontier.com/images/LeytonHouse/20211108_112608.jpg https://www.ipmsniagarafrontier.com/images/LeytonHouse/20211108_112620.jpg https://...
