Re: MFH 1/12 Ferrari 126C2 - Long beach
Hi "Blackbaron", his kit was my entry into the MFH world a few years ago. Built completely out-of-box, it can already be used to create a museum-quality model. In my experience, no aftermarket parts are required. There were no serious problems with fit during construction. However, what yo...

Re: 1/6 Porsche 917 Engine Full Detail
Hello everyone and thank you for nice comments ! The first small batch of 1:8 kits is sold out indeed. However, if there is sufficient demand, there might be a second batch of 1:8 versions potentially available in early 2024. What's currently in the production phase is a very small batch of 1:6 kits...

Re: 1/6 Porsche 917 Engine Full Detail
after countless hours in my workshop, I could finally finish the production of a very limited number of the 1:8 kits. The lucky enthusiasts will be rewarded with 1.800 parts and hopefully with a lot of fun when building this ultimate kit. 917_Engine_Kit_1_S.jpg 917_Engine_Kit_2_S.jpg 917_Engine_Kit_...

Re: 1/6 Porsche 917 Engine Full Detail
many thanks
on the pic below you'll see what I mean with "full detail". The 1:6 version will get all internal parts. It's basically the real engine in all details just scaled down.

Re: 1/6 Porsche 917 Engine Full Detail
Thanks a lot for your encouraging comments :-) After 2 years of development time, I could finally finish the 1:8 "Prototype Engine" for the kit. Basically, the model is ready because everything fit perfectly and I can go directly into production of the kit parts with the current design. P9...

Re: 1/12 MFH Porsche 917 LH
Hi Marcus, under WIP tab/page 7, you'll find a build report on my 917K (LM winner '71). I've put this project on hold a while ago due to other priorities. However I plan to restart/finish this project over the course of next year. Btw, your LH looks very clean and fantastic so far ! Another side not...

Re: 1/6 Porsche 917 Engine Full Detail
Thanks folks :-) ... started to install the fuel lines. I've measured the original diameter (= 6mm) of the fuel lines on a 917 exhibited at the Porsche Museum. In 1:8 scale = 0.75mm. Difficult to find a silicone tube with that diameter and the right color on the market. The MFH P-975 silicone tube i...
