Re: Kauhsen WK1 Ford Test 1979 G.Brancatelli CPModels

I reduced the space between the body and air funnels, with two little pieces of 0,2 mm plasticard.
See you soon, bye bye

Re: Kauhsen WK1 Ford Test 1979 G.Brancatelli CPModels

Goodmorning guys,
so in the next steps, I preferred to cut the roll bar, modify it and reposition it later.
Inside the body, I remove a lot of resin, to perfectly position the engine and I opened the NACA. I also checked the height and the space that must be there between the body and air funnels.

Re: Kauhsen WK1 Ford Test 1979 G.Brancatelli CPModels

Hi guys,
little up-date for today.
Fitting test for underbody and scratch of new front suspensions. So, about rear suspension, it must be considered that the rear was practically a copy of that of the Lotus 79.
Many F1 cars, at the time, used the same or very similar projects.

Can you say, where you found the reference materials about rear suspension?

Thanks vadim, but in reality there is not much material available. It is necessary to guess a bit. :D

Re: Kauhsen WK1 Ford Test 1979 G.Brancatelli CPModels

For the underbody I use a 2mm plasticard sheet and for new engine I have cloned a Tameo engine from Lotus 79, with suspensions modify.
See you soon, bye bye

Re: Kauhsen WK1 Ford Test 1979 G.Brancatelli CPModels

So, first of all I have rebuild the underbody for the new future seat and the new engine attachment.
On the body there are some holes for simulated rivets, but are wrong and too much big. I make new holes for put in the plasticard and close them. I did the new rivets later, at the end.
