Hmmm, after looking at this angle of the M1 maybe there is a significant enough difference in the front and rear wheels/tires.

Looking at the difference in the wheel and tires sizes along with the Martini colors, I'm thinking Porsche 935 Moby Dick? The M1 wheels are just nothing close to the teaser unfortunately, it'd be great to get an M1 though!

One thing I might suggest is that even though the tape isn't supposed to leave adhesive, maybe put some cloth or foam between the tape and the model, that way the finish is definitely protected and the tape will still hold it down.

Lou, not sure which version you are doing but scalemates has instructions on it and for the Canon car it seems to show what you are looking for, at least maybe it's a start.

I got the BBK photoetch for this kit a few years ago, the only problem I had was that on the PE for the rotor surfaces all of the curved lines that go out from the center are etched the same direction. That means that when you put them on either side of the kit rotors they will point opposite direct...

I've had good results using a silver colored pencil, just rub it on the raised lettering.

I use a silver colored pencil, very well sharpened and it works great!!
