Re: Use of plastic pipettes in painting process

I cut straws in two and use these. Cover one end with your finger, pinch it and suck up whatever you want. Only exact measures are a problem but these pipettes aren’t exact science as well, I think.

Not mine. First time in ages that I consider buying a new 1/12 MFH kit. Great looking car.

Re: Magnetic Tumbler

I think the best way to store the pins is to leave them covered in clean water in a jar, away from the magnet in the tumbler.

Re: Fujimi 1/24 Goodsmile Racing BMW Z4 SuperGT

Nice one! Built this kit a couple of years ago. Many decals for sure but as i recall not more difficult than for instance lining a cockpit with carbon decals. Biggest problem as i recall was that in some places, decals are 3-4 layers thick.

I think you have the option of buying the full set of ‘just’ parts of it.

Re: 1/12th Maserarti MC12

Nice. I built the much smaller brother, the 1/43 version. Nice build only the headlights were too difficult for me. Same problem as you have, flat sheet of clear plastic. I think you'll need a mould of some sorts and use heat.

Auch, that is my favorite period in F1 cars. Could be difficult to neglect.

Re: 1/12 Trumpeter GT-40

I built the original kit with KA update a while ago.Was an fun build. The addition of the Icon tires are a must, though.

Re: airbrush/compressor help

A lightly bent needle tip could be the problem here. If the needle is bent of has a burr on the end a little drop of paint will form on the tip. If the airflow increases this is blown off as a droplet, the way CaptainMark described before.
