Up Scale Hobbies

Greetings, I don't post much but had to give a shout out to Chris Baskett at Up Scale Hobbies which I just found out about last week. I placed a small order for 1/20th and 1/12th scale Top Studio detail parts last Saturday evening, Jun-22 and received my full order today! I have searched for a U.S. ...

Re: 1/25th scale Lotus?

This would be Jim Clark's 1966 2nd place finishing Lotus 38 at the Indy 500 that he thought he won instead of Graham Hill.

Re: Tamiya 1/12 Lotus 49 1967 Reissue

As VMK said in an earlier post, overall the Tamiya Lotus49 appears to be larger than 1/12 scale. Wouldn't using a later mold DFV from Tamiya look odd/small against the overscale tub of the 49? With all its flaws, I'll probably pickup a few. I still remember picking up this kit from my local hobby st...

Tamiya 1/12 Lotus 49 1967 Reissue

Hi, Long time reader and seldom poster. Don't know if you all saw the photos of the Tamiya 1/12 Lotus 49 reissue just announced for release sometime in November in the Hobby Link Japan site. Some good and bad things that I observed. The good is this kit appears to have turned intake stacks and some ...

Re: Engine Publications

Great reference guide to all the DFVs. I would like to see Stephen give the same detailed treatment for the Ferrari flat-12 boxer, especially since Tamiya has three 1/12th models with that engine - the 312B, 312T and 312T4. Also, the other manufacturers (Protar, Hasegawa) covering the 312T2, etc. Th...

Re: 1/20 Ebbro Kits

Hi,
Any plans for Ebbro to release a 72D? Also, just purchased he 49 and love the extra parts to build the various 49 modifications through the 1967 season. I'm excited about the future 49B release.

Re: Flat Tire on a F1 Model

I was able to call Tamiya America and purchase a complete set of the tires for the FW-14B sometime early this year. They had it in stock but I'm not sure if they still have it. Cost was about $14 US plus about $4 for shipping. Such great service!

My apologies. I am able to get to the RB Motion website. My Favorites book mark must have gotten corrupted.

Thanks,
