Question on Porsche 935 been bugging me for years

Question for the group. In the 70s Matchbox released 2 versions of the Porsche 935 model kit in 1/32 scale. One was Martini the other was Liqui Moly decals. Does anyone know if these cars raced at Le Mans or what races do they represent?
Thanks all, Roy

Re: Removing enamel paint

Oven cleaner. Just be careful with your skin.

But won't damage the plastic

Audi R10 TDI decals

Yet another query... in order to build a model of the 2008 winning car (Capello, Kristensen, McNish) is there any other option decal wise besides the old Colorado/Carpena sheet? (And is that any good?) I thought there were others, memory not what it was, but googling only brings up that one. Also wo...

Thanks, will check out the no 10.
Its a Ferrari so it has to be red!

Re: Ferrari 512S decal choice question?

Thanks. Looking a bit more on racingsportscars.com and general googling, looks like the no 16 Scuderia Filippinetti car from 1970 is closest, apart from the real car having a window on the rear deck where the kit has slots. There are at least 2 sets of decals available for that car so looks like tha...

Ferrari 512S decal choice question?

I have an old Protar issue of this kit but with no decals. I'd like to do a Le Mans car out of it but from what I can see this can't be done out of the box. At least not for a factory entry or any from 1971. As it will probably only ever be seen by me I'm willing to compromise a bit on accuracy and ...

Re: Has anyone here ever been to Le Mans?

Thanks Roman. That all helps. We're still all EU citizens here in Cork thankfully, and we have a direct ferry from Cork to Roscoff. (And loads more options from Rosslare now too thanks to the GB vote to close off the landbridge, amongst other things). Plan is to take my son with me if its a (very lo...

Has anyone here ever been to Le Mans?

Having passed the half century recently got me thinking about crossing this off my bucket list. Always wanted to go, feel that if i don't in the next few years i never will. Looking at seriously doing this in 2023 or 24. Probably 24 to benefit from the hopefully better competition with more MFGs.(al...
