Re: MMP Co. Ltd. - Ebbro bankruptcy
Another thing in favour of Italeri is their cooperation with Tamiya who is reboxing Italeri kits for the Japanese market. Getting the Lotus 25 parts for the Lotus 33 is what I'm thinking of.

Re: Lotus 56 turbine car - MPC 1/25
Thanks. I hope that I did print that decal while my ALPS printer worked. I am glad for this thread. Now that I see the model finished I realise that the parts I was going to modify and the reason that my builds went to sleep isn't visible with all body parts in place. Maybe I can find the motivation...

Re: Lotus 56 turbine car - MPC 1/25
A very good build. Like it a lot.
Where did you get the white decal on the tank at the rear? I don't recall seeing it on my S27 sheet.

Re: F1 tire decal placement
I'm surprised that it was so late. It's a good thing thatI don't have any interest of cars later than 1980. I can still get away with my bad paint of the wheels

Re: F1 tire decal placement
When the teams painted the logos themselves I suppose ti depend on how the mechanic would turn the wheel over to paint the other side. I know that if I would have done it the wheel would be lying on the ground in front of me and I would place the template at the top. Then I would flip the wheel forw...

Re: Who,s going to make the f1 cars for the 2014 season
This is why its so important for us to support new kits when they come out. I got the Meng MP4/4 at release even though I didn't intend to build it immediately to show there is interest. Its a bit disheartening to see people make posts about somewhat minor issues with the kit and have others say th...

Re: Seatbelt rules in F1?
As I made a comment of Indy 500 I had a look at the Lotus cars there. Already 1963 they had seat belts.

Re: Seatbelt rules in F1?
It is rather confusing. I found a picture with Hill using belts at the 1968 US GP also. I wonder if the rules were different over there making use mandatory. I remember reading a note saying that European drivers was annoyed to have to use belts at the Indy 500. Then there is conflicting data on whe...

Re: Seatbelt rules in F1?
Looking at pictures of Lotus cars I can't see any seat belts until the British GB 1968 where Jackie Oliver have them. Later in 1968 I see seat belts in the Andretti car as well but never in Hill's car.

Re: Seatbelt rules in F1?
Right now I've started on a couple of Lotus from the 1969 season an later I will have a couple from the 1967-68 seasons to built. So I need to find out when the crotch laps started to be used.
