Re: HMRC taking even more tax - UK (but maybe also a worldwide thing)
My understanding is that it won’t apply to selling personal possessions. If I bought a model collection with the intent of purely selling on for a profit, then that is trading and tax would be due - if I wanted to sell my own collection over time, then it would not be due. I might be wrong but I thi...

Re: MULTIMEDIA Upcoming F1 Releases 2023
Awww…..always the same. Wait years for your favourite ever F1 car to be modelled (BT56 :D ) and they muff it up  Not seen the decal sheet anywhere, but if the large Olivetti is on the sidepods, then it should be Iceberg on the engine cover. The frong wing Tossit on the box art made me chuckle ...

Re: LF help with patch on mansells sleeve
Hi Wim - It’s a police cap badge for the Isle of Man Constabulary (Police Force) - Mansell was famously a Special Constable when he lived on the island.

MRM International carbon fibre decal sheets
Time to consult the Wizards! :D Anybody have any knowledge of MRM International carbon fibre decal sheets? I have found a large quantity of sheets in a job lot of decals I bought at a recent auction - are they likely to be of good quality and worth selling on? (I have no particular need for them). M...

Absolutely agree the livery does it no favours at all.
Quick google search brings up this though

Much more appealing.

Guess it's all relative. Compared to 2014 car, then it's a beauty :D https://www.f1-fansite.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/2014-Australian-F1-GP-F1-Fansite.com_00014.jpg https://cdn-1.motorsport.com/static/img/amp/4400000/4470000/4471000/4471300/4471360/s6_1000984/1000984.jpg Compared to a certain 1...

Google, bow down before the awesomeness of this forum! :D 8) Can’t think why I never put it ‘out there’ before! Orso, a virtual pint to you sir - you have nailed it. Out of interest, where did you get that excellent image from? Alex - cheers, so close :D And yes MArtyn I am already working on ...

Anybody recognise this sponsor logo?
Hi all I'm putting this out to the collective brains of the group in the hope that someone can solve something that has been frustrating me for some time :D It concerns the Brabham BT60B as driven by Eric van de Poele at Kyalami 1992 - it had specific sponsorship / logo displayed on the nose for the...

Re: Brabham BT52
From what I can see from pictures in my various Brabham books, the BT52 did have a black rear wing for the Detroit and Canada races, and the front wing was also blue, rather than white. Can't tell if it was painted or carbon fibre though.

Re: Donnington Collection...closing
It's a shame, but not a great shock. I have been there on two occasions, the second and last time being a couple of years ago - there were visibly fewer cars on display than on my first visit and there were already the beginnings of a military vehicle collection and assorted militaria etc in which I...
