Re: PLASTIC Upcoming F1 Releases 2022
Looks very nice, but i found the first mistake, the missing part of the shifting linkage underneeth the exaust headers. Don`t know if it is included in the kit or a missing part, picture shows that it is missing. I think the electrical boxes and controls on the radiator shroud may be missing as well?

Re: 1962 Lotus 25 conversion
Cool project, great start. One other item to consider is that early 1962(probably for most if not all of 1962) Lotus 25 Climax engines used carburettors as opposed to the fuel injection in the kit.

Re: Ventilation-Booths and spray painting
The size of the fan is critical as it needs to overcome the various losses due to the design of the enclosure, face opening size, length and diameter of piping, internal texture of piping, number and angle of bends, and any filter restriction. Re: Lotus 79 radiators
The other thing that is important to consider is the flow path of the coolant tubes within the radiator core. Orientation of the tubes(and cooling fins) can have an impact on cooling efficiency, coolant drag within the radiator( power loss), as well as air drag and downforce. It would seem in these ...

Re: 1/6 Porsche 917 Engine Full Detail
Hello. Excellent project. I notice that in the first post, you show the raw 3D prints of the crankcase halves with the support structures. They are printed at an angle. I am wondering why they are printed at such an angle?
Re: tyre tags
So I once digitized a few labels that I still found. Upper row - all original stickers from tires digitized. Lower row - left digitized decal by DecalPool, right original sticker of a tire from 1988. Good job finding these. The pursuit of detail is never ending. Some of those must be sports car tir...

See page 15 in this document for an example: http://www.racegoodyear.com/pdf/2009GoodyearPress.pdf You may have to search otherwise if you want to be more specific. Remember if the scale is small enough, lettering may be so small you can read clearly anyway. I have made 1/25 scale tire stickers.you ...
