Re: MMP Co. Ltd. - Ebbro bankruptcy

That is very sad news. Their Tyrrell and Lotus kits were great. I would not put too much hope in the moulds. First of all, everything can happen in a bankruptcy case. First of all they could be in a physically random location which can mean they get lost or destroyed and even if they are known as so...

Re: Who will win the 2024 Australian Grand Prix?

I did not win! :D But amazing just the same. OK, Sainz did inherit the win, but he did drive well. Fast pace compared to the Mclarens and Leclerc and despite the undercut attempts, he came through to win. It would be interesting to see the times of Sainz to Perez to see if the Ferraris are fast enou...

Re: PLASTIC Upcoming F1 Releases 2024

In 2021 they showed the sprues ready at Shizuoka hobby fair, but ...they never released the 005 or 006.
It's a shame. They would do well releasing them and re-releasing their other kits as well.

Re: Thread/Posts etiquette

Good topic! I am a member of another forum where people keep throwing pictures of their models in threads that someone else has started and I find that very bad form and cannot understand why it is tolerated. There is the fact that some builders are better in some topics than others and some have sp...

Re: Thunder Valley still in business?

The guy is a scammer. He cheated me out of two model kits from eBay back in the day.
There should be a warning about him on this and other sites.

Re: Where to find F1/Indycar/single seater kits

Yep Stu! we gotta be positive. Dammit the TWO MP4/4 and the L99T are all GREAT news, as the MP4/2C re-release is. Our new and welcome fellow blue can see at a "complicated" field as he´s assimilating all the history of this in a few days. But if we are to rate if we are, right now, in a g...

You mean someone on eBay selling his used kits...
Tamiya is not selling them, because they are ... sold out.

Re: Where to find F1/Indycar/single seater kits

I also want to add one more thing; it does not help matters when the companies that release F1 cars are so sporadic and, to be blunt, dumb in their releases. Ebbro has promised the Tyrrell 005 for nearly a decade without releasing it for instance. Also the same for the Lotus 99 and McLaren Mp4/4 in ...

Re: Where to find F1/Indycar/single seater kits

In my mind is this question - is the reliance of model companies on producing and selling kits of WW2 planes and tanks actually driving the down the interest in the hobby? Is this something the younger generations even connect with? I'm seeing, from my vantage point in IPMS/USA, that there is growi...
