I built the kit when it first came put and went to a motorcycle dealer and bought a touch-up spray for the M@r!b*r* sponsored bikes of the time.
It was a perfect match for the colour on the Tamiya decals.

Yes, would be good, I think engines were oversize to fit the motors inside them.SBEST wrote:

Some of the early 1/12 F1 cars had electric motors, the Lotus 49 and 49B did I believe. They were re released without the motors but used the same mouldings. I have the 49B with photo etch parts and you still have the cover to change the batteries to fit in the chassis! Also on sprue C part 36 (not ...

For me, in F1 at least, it has to be removing the seamline in tires. Ugh. It's tiring (ba dum tish!) to sand tire that is just not receptive to being sanded. The sandpaper has little effect, its dirty and the graining/pickup of the tires just exacerbates the task. I usually do it when I am watching...
