Re: 1:12 F1 replacement tires and Set up wheels for Tamiya
Another option for selling the tires would be for you, or your friend Thomas, to sell the 3D tire files on one of the 3D file libraries online. That would save your time, printing and shipping. I know many of us are getting into 3D printing and just need somebody to design the part in CAD.

Re: Magnifier / light goggles or fixed desk lamp / magnifier
I use the Optivisor for close up work and have a swing arm light/magnifier that I use only as a light source. The Optivisor is eyeglass friendly, comes in several magnification strengths and easily tilts up when you don't need it.

Re: Starter Decals
Don't know about original decals, but you can try Pattos Place for decals. They have a ton in different scales for a lot of sports cars.

Modeling is good for you!
While checking the internet about aging for my elderly father I came across this article which says that modeling is good for your brain. (they don't mention the effects of glue and paint though). http://www.aarp.org/personal-growth/life-long-learning/info-04-2009/modelmaking-a-great-hobby-for-your-...

Re: what are they thinking
I thought I had read on another thread here that these insane prices on Amazon, (not necessarily eBay) are because it is easier for the seller to put a crazy price on an item if they are out of stock, than to remove the item listing entirely. If somebody does happen to order the item, the seller wil...

Re: Removing chrome from plastic with oven cleaner
My choice for chrome removal is Castrol Super Clean degreaser. For Zero Paint 2K clear I use 99% isopropyl alcohol and Testors Easy Lift off for Tamiya sprays and other lacquers. I have quite a bit of experience in removing paint.

Re: Zero 2K advice and tips??..
Sorry to hear about your problems. What brand of clear spray were you using? As far as Zero 2k, here is my formula. 4parts clear, 3 parts thinner, 2 parts hardener. I do 2 mist coats 5 minutes apart then a final wet coat. Add a little more thinner to the final wet coat. 4 to 6 days to dry before any...

Re: Ferrari 312T inside of body panels - painted?
That's along the lines of what I'll do. Anyone know what the circular structure is on the cockpit sidewall in the close-up photo? The circular structure is the reflection of the right mirror I think they mean the circle on the left, inside of the cockpit. Since the mirror seems to be attached from ...
