Re: Beauty and the Beast

Hi John Thanks for your quick response. I've been testing a few colours myself and I too think that Revell ultramarin blue (RAL 5002) from their aqua color range seems a good choice, although my test shows it to be quite a bit darker that the colour you have mixed... But that might really be no prob...

Re: searching for a decal maker

Hey Lesley In know of several people who can print custom decals. I have to say that I don't have any experience with any of them (yet), but you might try to contact them. http://www.druckeronkel.de/index.php?id=775&PHPSESSID=5cb932d949d2514fda67d4964f1c855e I've read some positive reviews on a ...

Re: Beauty and the Beast

Two very nice looking cars.
I'm building the B190B myself at the moment, but I have some problems finding the right blue (Gunze not being very easy to come by where I live).
What colour did you use for the blue?

Excellent build.

I found your WIP already very interesting. The finished car looks great.
You obviously put a lot of effort into this build and it really shows.

Re: 1/24 Hasegawe Williams FW14

Nice and promising start. I see that not much has changed with the Hasegawa kits. A lot of ejector pin marks on the car's floor, and a nose section that doesn't quite fit to the monocoque. It could have been one of their Benetton B190 or B190B kits you were showing here. In the end, I sanded the nos...

Re: Minardi M188 1/20

Very interesting thread here. I know that S27 (on the old website) once announced an M188, but it never surfaced. Apparently because they didn't find good enough source material for the designs of the moulds. It's great to see a M188 in 1/20 finally. Not sure about the overall shape, but as you ment...

Re: microballed

Another way to apply it is by "painting" the part to be "microballed" with some slightly diluted Kristal Klear (or another similar glue). I normally pour some microballs over the wet surface to prevent excessive build-up of the microballs. But dipping the part into the microballs...

Amazing level of detail you're showing here.

What a great build. Very enjoyable to follow, and already looking forward to the next update.

Re: Minardi 2000 and Pacific PR02 decal help please

Hi Zanardifan. I suppose we're talking 1/43 kits here (at least that's what I suspect). Can't help you with either, but I do have the 1/20 kit of the Minardi M02 and I can scan the decal sheet of that one (although it's from the San Marino GP...). I just looked through my picture archive (of the rea...
