Yes, its a completely new kit. The original release was handed mastered by Luca in wax. This is 2022 CAD/CAM with no parts carried over.

That doesn’t help with decals though… i’m not aware of anything other than the M Coll sheet you refer to.
S27 did a full kit so obviously have the artwork on file, but again, that’s no use.

Tamiya F-35A aircraft........amazing model kit! Prior to that I bought the Wicked Model Cars Peugeot 9X8 and Porsche 963 kits.
