Re: Easy question, difficult Answer...

Arrows A19, for sure!! If John Barnard had stayed at Ferrari for 1998 the A19's shape would be the design of the red car for that season. I had a spare F310B waiting for this conversion a long time ago...

Re: Kit size?

The cars will be shorter only with a new engine configuration. Today they have a gigantic turbo between the engine and gearbox. Even with a minuscule engine and a smaller fuel tank, the KERS, HERS and necessary radiators are a lot of big things to arrange behind the driver. WIth a new engine, withou...

Re: MEH... or, what you think of the 2022 F1 design?

Talking about ground effect cars, Peugeot will try to do in 2022's WEC what the Lotus 80 couldn't in 1979's F1: run without wings. If it works, who knows future F1 can learn something about it?

Re: MEH... or, what you think of the 2022 F1 design?

Well, the thing is horrible as it is now, but it's just a concept. I'm sure the teams will come with better solutions next year, along with subtle flips and flaps that we can't imagine now how could be fitted. Front and rear wings seems too unpractical at the moment. In no way they'll be one-piece p...

Re: Ebbro Lotus 33. Some pre-planning

Hi Björn, I did this research a long time ago trying to convert the Tamiya 25 to the 33. The definitive 33's monocoque have a continuous line from the back of the seat to the pedals, instead of the "kinked" line of the 25. Two bulges to accommodate the driver's hips were added at the sides...

Re: PLASTIC Upcoming F1 Releases 2021

Ebbro is also coming with a 1/20 Lotus 33. Seems to be the Tamiya Lotus 25 + additional parts to convert into Lotus 33. NICE. At last!!! I was waiting for that obvious conversion for years. So much that I spent a lot of time scanning the kit, modelling and 3D printing the conversion parts myself...

Re: LIGIER GITANES Brands 1980 question, sponsors...

Maybe that's why the car was BAD at some circuits... to add turbulence to the floor's air flow seems one of the many "guessing ideas" of that time. Ligier was proud to have different sidepods tailored for each circuit, but we now know that with the resources of that time was very difficult...

Re: Next Tamiya F1...???

Ebbro tried to do a Toro Rosso in 2019, or at least displayed a 3D printed prototype in a toy fair, but gave up fast. But then there was no japanese driver in the team. For sure, if Tsunoda keep doing so well (and seems that the guy is the real thing), either Tamiya, or Ebbro, or Fujimi, or Hasegawa...
