Re: My new hobby

Is this real Lego or Xingbao? Thomas, The 312T and Westlake eagle are the xingbao sets. I bought the real stickers direct from Luca. The lotus 79, Brabham BT46B and Ferrari 640 are built from scratch using Luca's instructions which you can buy on rebrickable. I did buy another 312T to use for donor...

My new hobby

Hope it's okay to post this here. As I mentioned in my post in classified the other week, i've not built any plastic models in a long time but I have been building something. I rediscovered a love of Lego a couple of years ago when I saw the brother in law's 1:8 Porsche GT3. That got me going on som...

Re: PLASTIC F1 PREDICTIONS...

So I see likely to be produced: Lotus: 97T and 98T. Not the 100T I'd say... Ferrari: 312T4, T5, 126C3, 156/85, 643, (C4, F1-86, F93A, 412T, 412T2 are more doubtful), F310, F399, F2002, F2003, F2004... F2008, F10! James, I think your right about the 97 and 98T. For the ferrari's I reckon the next on...

Re: F1 KIT COUNT

I'll have a go. My unbuilt tally is going up whilst the built tally isn't (planning for my retirement, busy at the moment with football and a new lady but still lurking :D) F1 only to keep it simple. 1/24 (all plastic) Built 30 unbuilt 3 1/20 MM (inc revivals) Built 4 unbuilt 2 Plastic (inc conversi...

Re: What F1 decals would you like to see produced?

1/20 Ligier JS37 or the arty JS39

Would be a nice conversion for the Jordan 191.

Re: What F1 decals would you like to see produced?

Any decals that would allow a conversion of Tamiya 1/20 + 1/12 f1 kits, Studio27 recently released limited edition sets of 1/20 conversion decals for trade only, there were Jordan J199/ Jaguar R3 / Footwork FA13 / Jordan 192 and some other Ca*el Lotus, Minardi etc, to convert kits Tamiya's 1/20 MP4...

Re: Converting recent F1 kits to other cars...

Didn't see this one on any of the earlier lists:-

F2001 to Jaguar R5.

I started it ages ago but unfortunately my moddeling has tailed off in recent months. New lady in my life etc :-(

Still pop in here for a browse from time to time.

Andy.
